Educational choice operates out of the conviction that every child is unique and has unique learning needs, and can take many forms: public and private school choice, charter schools, tuition tax credit scholarships, vouchers, online learning and education savings accounts.

The Centre for Community Empowerment and Poverty Eradication has completed a four-day training for youths on the propagation of girl-child education in some rural communities in Kwara State.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the training, held at Tunga Maje, Kaiama Local Government Area of the state, witnessed the participation of 90 young males and females from three rural communities.
Speaking to NAN after the training, Mr Abayomi Opakunle, the Programme Office, said it was organised to expose the youths to rights issues and their approaches, as well as to draw an advocacy plan on issues around girls’ education in their respective communities.
According to him, the participants were trained on the best way to achieve their set goals.
Opakunle said the training was organised under the NGO, Strengthening Women Empowerment to Deepen Girls Education (SWEDGE) programme.
He said the programme was being sponsored by Actionaid Nigeria, to promote girl education across four states Kwara, Kebbi, Ebonyi and the FCT.
