Dubai: Dubai Cares has emphasised the importance of ensuring the girl child’s education as the key factor in achieving progress and development of nations.

On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8, Dubai Cares said the girl’s education is vital in improving the lot of individuals, families and consequently communities and the nation.

On this occasion, Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Cares, stated how ensuring the girl child’s education is everyone’s responsibility.

“It is an unfortunate fact that in many of the countries we work in, girls’ access to education is extremely limited when compared to boys.
